In an earlier post about The Law of Attraction I talked about "The Gap". Wayne Dyer,a popular writer, defines "The Gap" as the "space between thoughts". The mind is continuously engaged in some thought or the other. This is true for almost all of us.
I believe that it is our thoughts that bound us to our current behavioural patterns and current reality. Any time I feel like having a nice helping of junk food,I immediately know inside me that its not a good thing to do.But then I think : "Ok!One last time...then I shall abstain for the whole week..and anyways its just one helping".If I would have moved away without having given thought to it,I would have gotten away. Its the same when I wake up early in the morning .I know I should get up and exercise.......I know I would be really happy if I were able to do that. But then I think........"5 min more...then I shall get up......" :-) Sounds familiar doesn't it.What if I would have gotten up without thinking at all.......
I read somewhere that according to the Japanese, the perfect warrior acts instinctively, without thought. Just like a mirror reflects images without clinging to then , so does the mind of a warrior acts, instinctively and without delay.
