Hi Everyone,
I am soooooo happy..............for the whole of the past 2 weeks I have been exercising regularly..Huraaaay!!!!!!!!!!
I had been exercising on and off for quite a while.......sometimes just once in two weeks :-)
It was at such times that I felt tempted to give up.......but I somehow always came back to it......
I followed my own advice (http://www.happinessnlove.com/2009/07/super-fit-2-get-motivated-to-exercise.html) and bought some stuff like a yoga mat,an aerobics and strength training cd and a yoga cd.
At first I began doing aerobics everyday and strength training the Upper and lower body on alternate days.But that was getting really exhausted and I also developed body ache.I read in a magazine that the body adapts easily so if you are getting body pain,you must be doing something wrong.....
I decided I was being too hard on myself........and included yoga in my routine.Now I was doing a 4 days' cycle of exercise that looked like this:
Day1: Aerobics + Upper Body strength training
Day2:Yoga
Day3: Aerobics + Lower Body strength training
Day4: Yoga
Next day was Day1 all over again..........
And this time I had hit upon the right mix for me!!!
Yoga stretched out my body and gave it the rest it needed .
The rest ,as they say,is history :-) .................Now I actually feel like exercising each day and enjoy my sessions..
I did it,my friends......and if a slacker like me can do it then so can you.......I absolutely gaurentee that :-)
