Part II of : Staying Calm and Relaxed and happy when things get rough at office…

So here’s the second installment of my original ideas on how one can stay cool and happy during choppy times in office.

Original Idea #2 : Don’t bring your ego into matters .I am surprised at the number of issues that are actually ego issues. If you don’t bring your ego into the picture, there’s a lot less conflict.

Out of everything others say to you and everything that happens to you……..take what is useful/makes you happy and discard the rest.Dont take things on yourself .Take things easy and if it isn’t good, just let it go.

Original Idea #3 : Don’t classify what happens as positive or negative, good or bad. Sometimes a bad thing can result in something good. For example a “discussion” about studying from your mom can help you not flunk. The truth is, in most cases you can never know if a thing is positive or negative for you .Yes, some things are definitely BAD. But even so, what’s the use of classifying stuff and focusing on the “bad”. Take things as they come and see most things as what they are……..stuff that happens…….neither good nor bad…….

Original Idea #4 : There’s you and then there’s stuff others think about you and stuff that happens to you .Stuff that happens is not you .Don’t define yourself by what happens or what somebody thinks. You know who you are. Be secure in that, love yourself unconditionally and be who you are.

Meek! Meek!
