Long title isn’t it :-)
Anyways things have gotten pretty rough in the project I am working on right now.We have very tough deadlines and everybody is under huge pressure.
As an SQL developer I am part of many modules and almost all of them want me to do my part yesterday……..simultaneously :-)
So things get pretty stressful regularly……..
So this got me thinking………is there a way I can deal with this without losing my happy thoughts……because its going to be like this for a long time and I don’t intend to spend all this time anxious and stressed out.This time I didn’t search the net but ,at the risk of reinventing the wheel,thought up original ideas :-) as to how I could remedy the situation.
Remember ,these Ideas are original only in so far as I never heard of them before…….they may ,however ,exist without my knowledgeJ
First Original Idea : I thought of a person who I believe is really calm and cool and relaxed all the time.Now no such person really exists.But if somebody is really calm and smiling everytime you see them (this will usually be a person you don’t know too well:-)),then you can make assumptions.So I thought of this really calm happy person and behaved as they would behave under the situation.....This actually worked!!!!
Will try this again tomorrow,and think up new ones..
