The Gap - Pure Consciousness -- Part II

Wayne Dyer and Deepak Chopra both agree that all things material originate from Pure Consciousness.Deepak Chopra calls this the "Field of Pure Potentiality" . This goes for all our desires as well.Everything we desire is born in this Pure Consciousness, this Field of Pure Potentiality where nothing is impossible. And when you are in the Gap, you are a part Pure Consciousness, connected to the source of all that is.The longer you stay in the Gap,the more you synchronise with the source. And both Wayne Dyer and Deepak Chopra claim.........as do several other writers...........that when you are in synch with the source....your desires turn to reality with great speed and ease.

I am going to try this out.Look out for the next post............ Wish you Lots of Happiness!!!!!!!!!!!

The Gap - Pure Consciousness -- Part I

In an earlier post about The Law of Attraction I talked about "The Gap". Wayne Dyer,a popular writer, defines "The Gap" as the "space between thoughts". The mind is continuously engaged in some thought or the other. This is true for almost all of us.

I believe that it is our thoughts that bound us to our current behavioural patterns and current reality. Any time I feel like having a nice helping of junk food,I immediately know inside me that its not a good thing to do.But then I think : "Ok!One last time...then I shall abstain for the whole week..and anyways its just one helping".If I would have moved away without having given thought to it,I would have gotten away. Its the same when I wake up early in the morning .I know I should get up and exercise.......I know I would be really happy if I were able to do that. But then I think........"5 min more...then I shall get up......" :-) Sounds familiar doesn't it.What if I would have gotten up without thinking at all.......

I read somewhere that according to the Japanese, the perfect warrior acts instinctively, without thought. Just like a mirror reflects images without clinging to then , so does the mind of a warrior acts, instinctively and without delay.

Affirmations : Update #4

Hi There, Maintaining consistency and sticking to things has never been my strong point. After Update #3 I wasn't doing the Affirmations regularly. What it had come down to was once in 3-4 days. But yesterday I decided, enough was enough and I really wanted to do this.So I finally got around to searching for images that matched what I wanted to affirm and then making a power point presentation with the affirmations as the caption and the image beneath that. Got the basic thing done last night. And read and affirmed it today morning. Some affirmations still need to be added, along with pics. Am going to really stick to it this time guys.........and tell you how it goes......... Have a Great Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Law of Attraction And Abraham - Hicks

Hi Everyone!!!
The Law of Attraction as defined by Abraham - Hicks has proved its existence again and again in my life.
And so I want to share it with you.
For the uninitiated, here are short notes on The Law of Attraction and Esther & Jerry Hicks:

Law of Attraction : Basically "like attracts like".Happy people attract more happiness.
We attract what we feel and visualize and expect. If we feel positive ,it will attract more happy things to us so that we feel happier still.
If we feel sad,it will attract more negative things to us so that we feel even sadder.
And so the cycle continues.More about this in a later post.

Abraham - Hicks : Esther Hicks claims to channel the thoughts of a group of Non-Physical entities collectively called "Abraham".Esther and her husband Jerry have authored many immensely successful books like "The Law of Attraction" and "Ask and It is Given".They also hold seminars where Esther answers questions from the audience.

I believe it doesn't really matter whether Esther's words are her own or belong to a Non - Physical being. What she says feels true to my heart.I have applied it in my life and it really works. It is simply miraculous how this works. Her words are practical, wise and witty.

Several videos of her answering audience questions feature on Youtube.I have created a playlist of my favourite Abraham - Hicks videos on YouTube.Below is the link :

Have a look........this has really helped me.......and made me laugh not a few times....

Take it easy and have fun with this.......

Changing frustration into something beautiful

Used an incredibley frustratingly boring job as an opportunity to center myself in the gap. For those unfamiliar with the "gap" , it is that space between your thoughts. The gap is thoughtlessness. It is the state of meditation where we merge with that which is behind all that is......that from which all things emerge.....pure consciousness.I shall write more about the Gap in a different post. I believe any interval of time or activity that gets you -ve or feels unpleasant .......you can just let go of your thoughts and go into the Gap.For most of us this takes a lot practice but you can begin with being in the Gap for a few seconds at a time and exending this period with time. So when I am feeling negetive,I just go into the Gap and experience pure consciousness. Thus something that was unplesant gets turned into a blessing. Bless you all and Have a Great day!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pain Free Typing - How to prevent Repetitive Stress Injury (RSI) to the wrist

Hi Everyone, Since the last few days I have been suffering from wrist pain,so much so that I required a pain relief spray yesterday night. It was then that I decided to find out how to prevent this from happening again.I am a software engineer by day and that means a lot of typing. Now I have never had any typing lessons so I don't know if the way I type is causing the problem.Anyways ,I searched the net and here's what I found: This great slideshow shows how you can work at the computer in an injury free manner.Have a look : http://www.customtyping.com/tutorials/erg/erg_slide_show.htm What I found was that I had to keep my wrist in a neutral position i.e. my hand should not be bent at the wrist. Also I realized I should type really gently,I was literally banging away at the keyboard. Another thing I did was,I saw that the person in the picture used a kind of pad to rest her wrists. Now I didn't have that and didn't have enough time to go shop for one, atleast not before weekend. So I folded up my cotton scarf and fashioned a pad out of that .It turned out that this really helped. Mouseing : About mouse use,I liked the following two points: 1.Move the mouse using your elbow, not your wrist. Remove your hand from the wrist pad or elbow support as this locks the elbows in place and encourages you to use the wrist. 2.Swap hands.Use the left and right hands alternatively to move your mouse. In the beginning it may be awkward and slow using your non dominant hand but believe me its worth it. Anyways those are the really useful things I found. Will keep you updated on new stuff I learn and whether my wrist pain reduced by using these techniques. See ya!!!!
